5 Books For 2021 Smarters Who Seek Growth

We know that if you do not move forward, you are more likely going back. Even though physics wouldn`t agree, in this world it works so.

And although we (probably all) love reading stories about elves and sleazy housemaids, we should also read something that pushes us up. Or forward. Or somewhere different.

So here are 5 books for smart workers and leaders to look for in bookshops (c`mon, let`s support those small and cozy ones, not Amazon!)

1. Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us by Daniel H. Pink

Well, the title says it all, so here you go. Just saying that Mr.Pink spent 40 years on researching this topic, so he probably knows what he talks about.

2. The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg

Again, there is science behind this book, so if you are a conspiracy theories believer who does not support hard evidence, this might not be a book for you.

3. Drop the Ball: Achieve More By Doing Less By Tiffany Dufu

This lady explains that it might not be so hard to handle everything in your life: family, career, wardrobe, hobbies or relax. Just drop all the nonsense and buzzing that distracts you. Yes, here you go.

4. Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert

Unleash that creative beast inside you! Might not be as difficult if you listen to advice of Eat, Pray, Love author. And yes, leaders need to be creative too, who else would motivate their staff with lovable images of animals?

5. Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

Learn how to experience deep joy everywhere, always. Unlock this power and control its right doses (We know how it goes with doses now, don`t we?).

There are still some months left in the horrid year of 2021 (geez, how did it run so fast?), so grab this opportunity and learn! And grow! Yaaaay!

Let me know if you also have any ideas and suggestions.

Have a lovely week.
